Worldbuilding & Storytelling Hands-On DIY Kit & Digital Resource Pack
The Worldbuilding Starter Pack aims to help writers, game designers, artists, and RPGers alike turn their imaginations into reality with a set of physical and digital tools designed to guide creators in the process of making fantasy worlds. Its goal is to make worldbuilding fun, approachable, and hands-on. Over 60 backers pledged $3,000 to bring the Worldbuilding Starter Pack to life through Kickstarter.
Educational Coloring Book Design, Layout & Production
Smart Colors coloring books are a project of Graywill Creative originally funded by a Melissa & Doug Entrepreneurs grant. Its mission is to use art and science in tandem to create coloring books that are catalysts for learning, and that make education accessible to all ages and backgrounds. The coloring books were successfully funded in less than 24 hours on Kickstarter in 2019, ultimately reaching 325% of its funding goal.
A Monthly, Hyper-local Zine Subscription Project About Bicycles & Durham, NC
Dose of Durham is a zine (a small-circulation, self-produced booklet or magazine) about exploring the history, culture, and beauty of Durham by bicycle. It has 40 paid subscribers and over 100 Patreon members. It is hand-delivered by bicycle to subscribers in a digestible monthly dose.
Card Game Content Creation, Design & Printing
"Cranes Assist Humility" was a parody expansion pack inspired by the popular card game "Cards Against Humanity" inspired by student culture at Duke University created in the spring of 2016. The cards were all printed, cut with mechnical paper cutter, and packaged by deck from a dorm room. The game became popular with students and alumni alike, receiving fan submissions for cards, getting attention in the university newspaper, and sold around hundred copies before being retired.
